NO TIME, NO SPACE

Angaangaq is an inuit, also a shaman, writer, speaker and, I supposed, most important, a great man and a great member of his own community. I’ve never met him, but his words in the recent book, Listen to the voice of the ice, gave me some peace and an opened door to learn more about this world and the consciousness. Angaangaq is also member of the World Wisdom Council. Far of being a group of “crazy” people (as many of us in this civilization would call them) they are a group of prestigious scientist, teachers, researches, economists and philosophers who have understood the importance of being. Just only being. Jane Goodall, for example, is one of these persons who teach us, with calm and harmony, how to be one in the middle of this life that, we, humans, try to control under the meaning of individuality. She learnt about this after years of loving and observing the chimpanzees. Her passion. Elisabet Sahtouris is other of these great women, absolutely convinced in the power of nature. The best mirror where humans can watch themselves and see the solutions to theirs problems, created by them (i have to say). Elisabet is a biologist. At some point in her life, she recognised that behind the gaze of science there is also the wise of the spirituality. Then, she started to study other ideas and philosophies of seeing life, in order of talking about it in a more complete way. The result, it’s a great message in which everyone can find light. It’s very interesting her idea about how we have to transform competition (the essence of this society) into cooperation (the essence of nature) in order to build and feel a place (called world) kinder, more peaceful, right in how works and perfect in building and construct, not in fighting and deconstruct.

All of this I have told, just only for writing my new story of today. My first post in English starts in Las Vegas. Yes, the same Las Vegas known as Sin city. The capital of gambling, desire, non-control, sex and others sins that anyone can imagine. Where is the spiritual aspect in this? Well, in the garden of one of the most famous casinos in Las Vegas (and also, people say, the one with the biggest poker room) there is a little temple that some clients from Thailand (who earned a fortune), built in gratitude. One day, some time later, a lady who was there, not for gambling (at least not for gambling money) went out for a walk. In the middle of her emotional desolation, trying to understand her feelings and the facts of her life, she found this little temple and prayed. She only asked for two. In exchange, she left her sacred stone, which carries to everyplace. Time run and Brahma, the goodness of the temple, gave her what she asked and what she need for go beyond in her life. People say that Brahma is the Buda of the 4 faces just only for helping anyone who comes from every cardinal direction. Because in the wise Orient, they know that in this world there is not time, neither space. All are one and one, in the middle of the desert, lost or lonely, can create his/her own magic present and his/her splendid future. For all of them, which means for all of us, I wish the best wishes and good luck, always.
